Today vet came--BA lunged Sephira on the little hill out front--I actually saw the issue in the right knee as she came around the bend and started up hill. It wasn't present in circling or trotting on the straight away without the hill. Karen said likely arthritic to some extent. To watch it for a week and see if the ?new balance shoes have made a change. If not then she suggested to get back in touch for NSAID--likely prevacox.
A little tripping isn't an issue but falling is. Also for me--being careful that she doesn't get too tired when I ride her. Also that when riding she stays mentally engaged--going to sleep or tuning me out would be a good time for it to give and for her to trip.
